Water Horse is a 16"  painted fabric doll.   The tail is made with Plaster Wrap and then painted to give a crustaceous texture.

The head piece is made from stiffened lace and a doily.

She  holds a staff with a shell and beads for embellishment.

The blouse is made from strips of silk.  She has webbed hands.
